They also snagged Sarfaraz Khan (probably the greatest buy of the auction at INR 20 lakhs) and Mustafizur Rahman at bargain prices.
At the IPL 2022 Auction, the Delhi Capitals covered all bases. The only thing that could go wrong is Anrich Nortje’s fitness.
They had Kagiso Rabada last year, but Rabada is now at PBKS. If Nortje plays the entire season, DC has a good chance of winning the trophy.

Finn Allen and Sherfane Rutherford are good overseas backup bargains, but their first-choice buys, particularly Faf du Plessis, might be critical if they decide to make the South African their captain.
