Not only are the Winter Olympics taking place but there’s a rather special ice tournament occurring in St Moritz. Home of the annual Cricket On Ice games. Nope, we’re not pulling your leg! This is a legitimate competition which has been in play since 2012, between cricketing British secondary schools and local Swiss teams. Also this year was the inclusion of an All Stars T20, with the likes of Shahid Afridi, Jacques Kallis and James Foster playing. Although Owais Shah and Monty Panesar turned out so, y’know it wasn’t all superstars!
One things is for sure. Whitto is in superstar form as he recounts these stories and even has time to search for The Holy Grail. Plus a bloke who can’t get his leg over.
